The name comes from the former resident, a local artist, that was an avid Tile collector. We have tried to integrate some of his 4500 tiles in the house to ensure his passion lives on. You well find his tiles in paintings, tables and even in the shower.
The recent full refurbishment of the interior provides a comfortable and modern living space for guests. The house has been equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay to enhances the guest experience, ensuring that visitors have all the essentials at their fingertips.

Contemporary home brimming with charm
The inside of the house is decorated with modern furnishings and equipped with all of the amenities needed to make any guest feel right at home. You will notice several "Tile" references in and outside of the home that are a nod to the artist that lived here before and had amassed a collection of over 4500 tiles. Numerous windows invite the outdoors in, seamlessly blending with the surrounding nature.
The Garden:
The Tile house is situated in a green zone and surrounded by trees and nature. A small path takes you from the private parking on a secluded cobbled street. There is an outdoor seating area, possibility to borrow bicycles, and woods/lakes nearby to explore!
The House:
The house has recently been fully refurbished but dates from the 1950s. Its the guesthouse of a larger property where the hosts Lisa and Jan live with their 4 children.
Inside the home
The Ground Floor
A generous hallway with a designated cloak area guides you to the master bedroom, boasting an Asian-inspired design. The simple yet appealing space provides ample storage to meet your needs and captivating views of the garden enhance the appeal of this double bed master bedroom.
The family bathroom is adorned with a blend of green antique tiles, transforming the sink, toilet, and shower into a unique and artistic ensemble.
The 1st Floor
Ascending to the first floor, you'll discover the living area featuring an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining room. This space is complemented by an additional toilet. As you indulge in your afternoon tea or coffee in the upper-level living room, you'll be embraced by the beauty of mature trees and an art-filled garden. On sunlit days, you can take advantage of an outdoor terrace with views overlooking the mature garden.
The 2nd Floor
Ascend another set of stairs, and you'll reach the versatile modular mezzanine. Serving as an office or a twin/double room depending on your preferences and requirements. This room also benefits from a Velux and end window insuring a light filled space where you can relax or work depending on your schedule.
